Today's Tip Excel 2010: Remove the Pivot and leave the formatting.
Select the entire table (Pivot Table Tools => Actions => Select =>Entire Pivot Table
Copy
Paste into a new empty cell using a the clipboard by clicking on the item. This will paste without the pivot attached. See attached picture.
I use to use the copy => paste special => values. MS Excel 2010 does not keep the formatting in this method.
